Rosie Fenn
At home above the corner lamp, Rosie knows when Jonah is taking himself too seriously.
Look closer at the illustration ↗Rosie lives with Jonah and their children, Kit and Poppy, in the house above the corner lamp. Her mother made the rag rug between the children’s beds.
When Kit asks Jonah to leave their lamp until last, Rosie understands exactly what the request costs a man so proud of his street. Her teasing does not prevent her from putting a blanket within Kit’s reach.
After the lamp is lit and Kit has given the word, she comes in and carries him, asleep, away from the window.
